REACH FOUNDATION supports young people to discover their power.
REACH, Collingwood, Melbourne
In November 2001, the Harris family donated the use of the ‘Dream Factory’ to The Reach Foundation, as a celebration of their belief in young people, their hopes and future.
Located on Wellington Street in Collingwood, the Dream Factory not only serves as the base of the Reach Foundation but a venue for Reach programs and activities that encourage young people to realise their full potential and live their dreams.
As a health promotion organisation, REACH delivers positive and preventative mental health programs to more than 40,000 young people aged 10 to 25 each year through youth-led school workshops and community programs.
REACH’s programs support young people to develop the social and emotional skills they need to be resilient, make positive life choices, and fulfil their potential – especially during life’s tougher times.
WAKE by REACH is a social enterprise that creates revenue to support REACH’s work with young people across Australia. WAKE crafts and delivers unique experiences, workshops and training for corporate audiences under a fee-for-service model. These experiences focus on the development of skills known traditionally as ‘soft skills’: connection, empathy, resilience, leadership and communication. WAKE works with audiences of all ages, focusing on graduate and early-career professionals, broadening REACH’s impact to include people over 18.
